Working as a consultant in tech and other corporate environments, I began using art and movement as a way to give my creativity a voice and to be in integrity with myself. Because of this, I am drawn to working with creative weirdos employed in corporate environments.
I earned my Masters in Counseling Psychology in the Expressive Arts program at California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco. My expressive arts training and experience includes Narrative therapy, movement, sandtray, sound healing, visual arts, and drama therapy.
Prior to Grateful Heart, I worked as an expressive arts therapist intern at Contra Costra Regional Medical Center, and as a group and individual counselor at the Oakland Adult Rehabilitation Center.
